Potential investors are a) pension funds and other tax-exempt institutions domiciled in Switzerland whose purpose is to provide occupational benefits; and b) persons who manage collective investment schemes of the institutions referred to under section a) above, are supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA and exclusively invest funds for these institutions with the foundation, and who wish to invest directly in a diversified real estate portfolio of existing properties throughout Switzerland with first-class location and property quality and a „residential“ focus.

In addition, Swiss pension funds of any size have the option of transferring their directly held real estate portfolio to the Investment Foundation by contributing assets in kind, in order to benefit from greater diversification and professional portfolio management.

Focus

The foundations of our real estate investments.

The focus of the portfolio is the management and development of real estate used exclusively for residential purposes. The long-term aim is for at least 60% of the total rental income to come from residential properties. New construction projects can account for up to 30% of the current real estate portfolio value (six-monthly evaluation), with the option of also building residential properties to be sold as condominiums. As much as 15% of the current property portfolio value can also be assigned to repurposing or renovation projects.

The investment group Real Estate Switzerland can also invest in repurposing, building and property development projects in Switzerland. The focus is on the development and completion of projects with plenty of scope to add value.
